The location is excellent for visiting the concentration camp, a short walk away. Cheap, cheerful and nice breakfast. Very helpful staff. We stayed two nights. Was told the resteraunt was not open as there was no group booking that night, however the following day it would be open. Went to the resteraunt the following evening and were told we couldn't have a meal as there would not be enough !So had to go out and find somewhere to eat.

Please note that guests must be a member of Hostelling International (HI) or the Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk (German Youth Hostel Association). Membership can be applied for upon arrival. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents aged 26 or younger pay EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22.50 per year upon arrival. Prices apply to guests aged 26 or younger. Older guests pay a surcharge of EUR 4 per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets. Alternatively, a Guest Card with immediate international validity can be obtained for EUR 18. Please note there is no access to the hostel between midnight and 07:00 during the period from 15.09.2017 until 03.10.2017. (entire period of Oktoberfest)
