  Perfect location - although car probably essential. Beautiful surroundings and lovely walks, restaurants and collection of shops. Room basic but immaculate and comfortable bed.   We were on a family visit in Blankenese so for us the location was excellent. This hotel is 5 mins walk from S-Bahnhof Blankenese with superb direct services via S1-line to the city centre (25 mins) and Hamburg-Airport (50 mins) running every 10 mins or one can also use the fast Bus No 36 to the city centre. Really excellent breakfast (more than ... hva folk sier » you can eat!) - decor a little bit dated but perfectly alright and very clean. We asked for a room to the rear at the time of booking and it was real - Located a little way out of city but on a good bus and train routes. Check in staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Breakfast very good choices. Would return

  The hotel is in a beautiful stylish refurbished 'jugendstil' villa overlooking the river Elbe. The rooms were nicely decorated and we had a room overlooking the river, watching the boats and ships go by. Nice breakfast, although not sure what was included in the 15 Euros per head. The area is affluent residential with nice restaurants in the same ... hva folk sier » road. - Convenient location. Nice breakfast (charged in addition to the room). Nice view of the river with windows that open so room didn't feel stuffy and overheated.
