  The "Plains Room" that we stayed in was superb. Very comfortable swiss-style double bed, great bathroom with beautifully-done tile and an awesome shower. The breakfast room downstairs was charming, with delicious local confiture (jams) and fruit, and Patrick and Vivian went to great lengths to be good hosts. Breakfast is rich made of organic food coming from the farms arounds. The location, although historical landmark, is very clean and up to any modern standards for accomodation. The gardens are lovely for sun bathing. Location is ideal to hiking.
