We loved everything - the location so close to the lovely old town, the sea view from our side balcony, the well equipped kitchenette, the huge bed, the modrrn decor, modern bathroom, great shower, nice towels and toiletries and the staff. Room is big and clean, all daily necesities are available, bed is quite comfortable.
Reception staff very kind and helpfull, they gave us list of best local restaurants and advised which are the best - we tried 2 of 4 and both were perfect.
Parking is inside hotel and spaceous enough for big car.
Hotel located outside of old sity but it takes only 10-15 minutes walk and the route is going along seaside, so it is very pleasant.

Wonderful place to stay in Rotheneuf, a quiet area of St-Malo, about 7-8 minutes drive to the Intra-Muros. Villa Esprit de Famille combines the best features of a hotel and a B and B. It's friendly and family run, comfortable and immaculately clean and set in the beautiful village of Rotheneuf, part of Saint-Malo. Rooms are spacious; breakfast is heavenly as they use local produce and Jean-Francois makes his own series of jams (I'd particularly recommend the apricot and rosemary!). Lovely apartment - Used this hotel for a 4 day break. Room was a good size with 4 adults sharing it. Room would suit 2 Adults and 2 children due to the sleeping arrangements. The location is excellent, right next to the beach. Note,the studios have balconies which only face the street. It is 30minutes walk to Porte St Vincent, the entrance to the attractive walled city.
