  This is the second time that we have had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau de l'Abbaye. The Renard family was as welcoming and gracious as ever; showing us to our room, pointing out the features of the room, offering to carry our suitcase.   We got upgraded and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the sea. We paid extra for breakfast in our room just to appreciate the view. We were given an excellent breakfast selection - Friendly staff. Wonderfull room with terrace on the sea-side.

  Used the Martinet as an overnight stop on our cycle touring holiday. Bouin is a quiet village with an interesting church and the Martinet is the perfect place to relax. Run by a very pleasant couple you feel that without being intrusive, nothing would be too much trouble for them to help make your stay a very comfortable experience.
