  Super little mini apartment B&B. The breakfast served at your door was varied and a great way to start a cycling day. Christine was warm and welcoming. The apartment had everything you needed to make you feel at home. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night.   Fabulous, Following a stay in Lake Annecy we took a 3 night break in Aix-les-Bains and chose this little gem, about a 20 minute walk from Aix. Aix itself is disappointing - a bit of a poor man's lakes and mountains break - there is very little to do there and there are closed down faded-grandeur hotels, however our stay at L'hermitage made the tr... hva folk sier » ip worthwhile it is excellent. Set behind secure electric gates this quiet, charming property stands in lovely grounds. There is a pool and sun area - The rooms and decor were modern in a traditional house. They were relaxing with plenty of room. The house and garden were lovely and picturesque. Breakfast was a small portion of fresh fruit, pastries and toast, with juice and coffee. The fresh jams were great. Good views over the city of Aix-Les-Bains and the lake and mountains. Well located within a short drive (2 km) or walking distance of town.

  The building is a wonderful grand old hotel, the room, on the third floor is sympathetically decorated, very comfortable and has a beautiful outlook across the town and Lake Bourget. We had breakfast on the verandah each day. Mme Cornet is a perfect host, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fresh berries, local cheese, gorgeous conserves,... hva folk sier » bread, and croissants. The old part of Aix is 5-10 minutes walk away, with a good selection of restaurants and bars. When we're on holiday we don't - The location was a short stroll from town and a beautiful view from our balcony across the town and lake was superb. Isabelle was the perfect host, the breakfast fabulous and the room very comfortable, even in the heat! Will definitely return again soon!
