Only stayed for an overnight but Mark & Tina were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Weather was good so dinner on the terrace with two other guests made the evening. Breakfast was also excellent. We felt totally looked after. We'll stay again next time we are in the area and hopefully explore Le Mans. -

Everything about our stay was excellent. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating, so far as even collecting our breakfast from the bakery for our early morning start on our leaving day. A beautiful cottage which the owners, who were charming and helpful,
have restored to a high standard. We had chosen Le Mans as an overnight
stop on our way to Roscoff from Italy. In fact we were very pleasantly
surprised by Le Mans itself and the cottage was perfectly situated for
exploring the historic centre which is very attractive. There were
several good restaurants close to the cottage but we enjoyed having the
option to self cater. The cooking facilities were limited but sufficient

by a lovely couple and is set in lovely gardens. The main house is an
old mill house, with ponds, streams, ducks, trees. It is very tranquil

special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which
is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the
duration of our stay. All of the guests were invited to drink and eat
together in the evening.

We were made to feel so welcome by the owners from the moment we arrived until the day of our departure. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

Great place to stay. We were a group of motorcyclist travelling through
Europe wanting an easy location on route back to Caen. The staff are
more than helpful and finding that we were the only booked guest the
whole complex was given to ourselves. Be aware however that there is
very little in the way of; shops, restaurant etc open during the week.

Very pet friendly. Our dogs had an injured paw and the owner went out of
his way to help dress the wound. Also out of season on a French public
holiday he made sure we were provided with an evening meal. Looks a
fabulous place with a beach by a lake for a family summer holiday.

Absolutely fabulous location. Just outside of Le Mans, yet huge garden, many places to sit outside without being near someone else, wonderful reception, excellent breakfast.
You are in the countryside, yet Le Mans is very close if you want to visit the city, then return to an oasis.

reception was efficient, helpful and friendly. Our bathroom was large
and spotless, the bedroom was fine. It was quiet and overlooked the
