This is a new hotel set set in an oasis behind unassuming security gates which open to a somewhat futuristic setting of landscaped gardens, pool, and modern buildings. We thought the house was very spacious and comfortable and generally well equipped. Having our own poll was a big bonus. the location was good, close to shops and very good for hill walking and sightseeing. Although the published rate was expensive, we were very pleased with the price we had paid by booking early and at that price would certainly come again and recommend it to others.

We loved the peaceful setting of this beautiful hotel, and the helpful friendliness of the family who own it. They welcome guests' pets, and have several of their own. The breakfasts are excellent, and the pool really prettily laid out. Our room, no 14, was large and comfortable, with a balcony looking out over fields and a vineyard. There is a 20 minute walk into the village for main meals, but this is via quiet roads....and downhill on the way there at least!
