  La Treyne was beautiful, and a good value for this kind of luxury chateau. The location on the Drodogne was also excellent, but certainly out of the way. The food was some of the best we've ever had (and have traveled considerably), but was expensive. - Stunning location. Fabulous service and attention to detail.   This was absolutely beautiful experience. The place itself is magic, full of history, however nicely kept/remodeled with the respect of Medieval style. The panoramic views were breathtaking. There is a clean large pool overlooking the castle. We also splurged for a luxury dinner. Our room was large, quiet and beautifully decorated with windows overlooking the countryside.
