  Set in its own grounds, very peaceful, excellent parking. Our room was excellent, large and spacious with good facilities. The food was excellent, although the menu was limited and didn't change for the three nights we were there. Tours is a very upmarket and cosmopolitan area with lots of historical sites. A good base for the Loire Valley and... hva folk sier » Chateaus. - Beautiful, very relaxing, great to wind down after a few days on the road. In it's own grounds and away from the city. Food was very good and with a nice wine what more do you need. Spa very good but book in advance, also kitchen very busy so if you want to eay early book also. Staff very nice and very helpful.   I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops. I also enjoyed the garden at the hotel and the feeling of openess that it gave you. - It was clean, ... hva folk sier » the staff was friendly and helpful. The setting and landscaping was great. They even had a pool for the summer months.

  Very helpful owners. Lovely location. Swimming pool very welcome after long hot drive. Lovely fresh breakfast. - Excellent, fresh croissants, bread, pain au raisin and pain au chocolate - however no yogurt or fresh fruit.
