  Perhaps the prettiest hotel we stayed at in a month of travelling through France. The hostess was very welcoming, the room beautifully decorated, and the hotel is in a very old historical building right on the riverfront. Bedroom was not huge but interestingly furnished and a lovely view up to the chateau perched on the cliff. Amazing breakfast, probably the best we have ever had in France. So much choice!   Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Rooms were very spacious and clean, and the king sized bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in.
