  The location was amazing. It is a couple short blocks from the Notre Damme in one direction, and the Pantheon in the other. There are very many great restaurants and you are really in the heart of the action, but the hotel itself is on a quiet block so you don't have to deal with hearing the night life and busy-ness just a block or two away. It is in - The overall decor is typically old French, with paintings and classic design features. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spectacular and appeared to have been recently remodeled. The air-conditioning was great. For it's location (Latin Quarter), the price was quite reasonable. Communication with the hotel staff prior to our arrival was very friendly and helpful.

  The hotel is on a quiet street just off main boulevards. Very near the Sorbonne and about 10 mins walk from Notre Dame. Very well situated for a direct metro link from Gard du Nord to Odeon.   Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

I sent an email to the hotel a few days before arrival and asked if were is a possibility to get a room with a view to the street, they replied very quickly and told me that if such a room will be available on the date of our arrival, they will save it for us. The room they had assigned to me for the initially booked stay had had a smoker in it - I was moved to a very nice room immediately, no question. Breakfast was fine for me. Bed was comfortable. Table/desk in the room allowed me to work comfortably when necessary. Location was excellent. I was entirely pleased and shall book there the next time I return to Paris

  I have aspired to stay in this hotel since I first visited Paris as a student and could not afford it...I Was not DISSAPOINTED,as follows... Lovely staff. Child Friendly. Excellent Location. Very comfortable bed. Lot's of good, non-tourist dining available within a true 5 minute stroll, including a very nice Jaques Cagna restaurant right across the street and 5 minutes from a Grom gelateria. You can spend more but you really won't get more.

  The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine.
