  This small pretty hotel is right in the heart of Toulouse but is on a quiet side street so you don't feel submerged by the city.   I had stayed at this small, friendly Hotel St Claire on my last trip and was very happy to return as I find the staff exceptionally welcoming, attentive and happy to help (in English and/or French as you wish). I like its pleasingly light, stylish decor, with rooms designed to be calm and restful. Hotel is only approx. 700m from train station..4 blocks down Alle Jean Jarres and 1 block in. Easy to find. Nice breakfast in the morning too. We loved our stay here. Would definitely go back.

  I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and in all that time, could not find anything to complain about. The room was a bit small, but very clean (and was cleaned every day) and quiet. The air-conditioner worked perfectly.   Although some of the hotel is a bit old fashioned, it is very clean, all the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, looking up sites on the net for trains and buses etc.(we were staying juring a weather alert and trains were all suspended and delayed).
