  It was an excellent hotel in a great location. It was nicely done out but a little bit cute and kooky (with the china cats and the goldfish). It had more character than bigger chain hotels. The rooms were very nice for the price we paid. The staff were exceptionally helpful.   This is a truly lovely budget hotel. At around €100 a night for a decent- sized room with a private bathroom and shower, this is a great deal for the location. We walked there from Gare du Nord; it's also very convenient to the Metro, and there's a bike-sharing (Velib') station just outside the front door. The staff is wonderful... Friendly, cheer... hva folk sier » ful, and very helpful. We ended up needing to leave a day early, and there was no problem changing our reservation once we got there. Overall, this is - Location is great, just 5 mins walk to the metro station (which is near the city centre and has both 8 and 9 line passing by). There are lots of restaurants nearby ( if you are a Chinese, you will like the Chinese restaurant on the left side of the hotel). Staffs are friendly and helpful and there is a small lift in the hotel.
