  The owners of La Tour du Tresorier, Thierry and Sophie, were incredibly charming, friendly and helpful. They were anxious to recommend places to visit and eat and would make reservations on our behalf- to be cancelled if necessary- without our having to request. Their house is an historic wonder our accommodations were in the 17thc tower from whic... hva folk sier » h the hotel gets its name. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade preserves. Elegantly served. - The beautiful location including a historical setting, lovely gardens, views and wonderful comfort. Our hosts were charming and helpful, the breakfast tasty and it all felt very special. Everything was delightful including the town of Tournus. We hope to go back and stay a bit longer next time.
