The position. It is in the centre and only about 7 minutes walk from the
station. My room overlooked a court-yard. It is very different, almost
like an antique shop, but very interesting. The breakfast was good,
fresh baqettes croissents, jam, butter, coffee or tea and real orange
juice, not the artificial stuff often served The staff were lovely.
Corrin and Alba.Nothing was too much bother.. alle vurderinger »
The receptionist-factotum was very efficient & friendly, allowing us to arrive a little earlier than check-in time & to leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out.
The room was quirky & a little small but adequate for a triple.
The continental breakfast was good.
The location was very good, walking distance from the station & to the main drag.
I like in this hotel the most of all central location in the heart of Annecy and really friendly personnel of hotel. Also the rooms have all necessary things for 1-2 days staying and the rooms have amazing furniture and very interesting old style. This is very nice and make this hotel a little bit different from others.
I really appreciated the attitude of the owner. The day of arrival I received an SMS asking for my arrival time. Check-in usually starts at 17 and I was ahead of time. However the owner managed to open the reception earlier at 16 and she notified me by SMS.
Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Were very accommodating
when we extended our trip one night then another night. Hotel design is
very quirky and cute. Hotel is fantastic position, close to everything.
The location was fantastic. Close to the station and a short walk to everything. We liked the spacious room with lots of shelving and places to put things. The staff spoke English and were happy to talk to you.
It is one of the cutest hotels that I have been to. Everything is great, very close to Central station, 5 minutes walk to everywhere. The room had river view, amazing to look and feel the air in the morning.
Beautiful hotel. Not luxurious but so personal and so creative. the artist in me loved this place and i wouldnt go back to annecy without sleeping there again. the interior decoration is impressive.
The location adjacent to the old town and the lake was ideal. The quirky, colourful decor was fun and the lady owner was friendly, kind and spoke good english. Value was good.
The owner lady was very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English.
The room we had was lovely and clean.

Cleanliness.
Great decor. Lovely staff.
The location is fantastic and therefore the hotel represented good value for money.
As we had read on your site, "quirky" is a good word to describe the hotel. Great for a good value short stay but a longer stay might wear out the charm.
Great location with a balcony over a canal.
Good location. Unique room.
The only negative that I can think of is that the globes in my room were
low wattage.I'm sure that if I asked they would have changed them,
but it wsn't worth the fuss.I Was still able to read.
WC was in the corridor & had a sink but no towel or soap. A tiny shower in the room had a difficult to control showerhead & wet the floor.
The location was very noisy at night, & we could not get to sleep.
Absence in room the hairdryer and a noise in the bathroom when the water flows through the pipes.
We went in summer and there was no fan or air con so it was rather
uncomfortable at night when we went in summer. I wouls highly recommend
to the owner to invest in some fans. Wifi quality was poor, we ended up
having to go to a cafe to Skype etc.
The toilet was down the hall but was not much of a problem because we never saw anyone else use it.
the place is an old hotel and of course need constant renovation but this was the charm of this place - cracking wood flooring, chipped paint here and there.
The room did not have space for a chair or much worktop space.
Bathroom smelt a little moldy.
No toilet in room.
Food difficult to find in the immediate vicinity, but not much of a problem if u know how to navigate the streets by foot.
No parking!.
Toilet too small to close the door!.
Rooms & bathrooms adequate, but tired.
The WiFi didn't work very well.
Although our room had a shower and handbasin it didn't have a WC. A short trip down the corridor to a shared (with one other room) toilet was no problem for a one night stay but....
Staff would not give us a much-needed 15 minutes extra on our check-out time. The bathroom was not in the room.
Internet did not work, the router is placed too far away from the rooms
(a consistent problem in French hotels).
