  The location of Residence du Cap itself is lovely with its views over the sea & surrounding coastline at the front and up into the hills at the back - a minute's walk from the sea, but set back from the main road so very quiet. Cavaliere has an extremely good beach but with other lovely, local beaches within walking distance along an old rail ... hva folk sier » track, designated just for walkers and cyclists. Opportunities for sailing, scuba diving, water skiing, sailing, etc. for the more adventurous and som - Great location just a minute walk from the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a two bedroom apartment which was well equipped and worked well with two children and a baby. Loved the terrace in front of the reception. The final night the aircon failed and we really didn't want to move just as the kids were going to sleep. When we checked out they knocked 40 euros off the bill without me having to ask. I think that says a lot. Would definately return.

Much more than two stars, much more than most of the three star hotels in the region (and three stars can go ridiculously low on what they offer in all of the PACA).   Lovely hotel in fantastic location, our spacious room was on the 3rd floor with a balcony over looking the harbour. The staff were unobtrusive but always friendly and helpful when assistance was required. The hotel was generally well maintained with a lovely garden and pool. Rooms were very large. Very close 5 minute walk to the beach and town. Parking was easy right out front, but it wasn't busy at the hotel at the time.
