Excellent location in the very centre of the great city of Tampere, couple of minutes walking from main railway station; original interior with four rooms (2-3 persons), fully furnished shared kitchen and living room; homely, friendly, with really nice lady who recommended us what to see and do in Tampere. We really appreciated it. Excellent value. I stay in Tampere a lot and don't need fancy hotel rooms which are expensive. I just want a clean and practical environment, a bed and a shower - that's it! I will be able to make more frequent trips now, knowing it won't cost the earth!.

Was a bit difficult getting hold of the staff. However, when I did they were apologetic. It just meant that I had to dither about for an hour. You need to know exactly arrival time because there is no a reception desk. You need to know your exact arriving time, no reception. Room was clean but seemed quite outworn. Shower room is not comfortable, in the kitchen missing a toaster. Could be a bit cleaner. no microwave. Poor kitchen equipment. This room small and dusty, and living room is more like a warehouse than a living room because they put everything in this living room. Toilet was clean but stinky, because they put mop in this toilet. Maybe I was having too high expectation, because it name is "hotel" and the price was quite high, but this room is more like a "hostel" rather than "hotel". I will never stay in this hotel again.. Poor service with non-existing contact with the owner. We were 'greeted' by someone who did not know anything about the hotel or its facilities and never met any staff of the hotel itself. Room, kitchen and bathroom were not clean and pictures are not resembling reality. Not a good place to stay if you want to have a comfortable night. Plus no parking facilities and expensive public parking in the city.
