  Tallinn is a cross point for many Scandinavian visitor's, Traveller's usually hop on to ferries from Helsinki, to fetch Cheap Liquor and Cigarettes mainly. The room was airy and bright, looking out on the "courtyard.". Actually, quite charming in a simple and unpretentious way. Everything seemed newly painted and polished. The room, and the hostel in general, were very clean. Beds and linens, comfortable and good. The main young woman who staffed during my three day stay was chipper, helpful and good spirited.   The person at the reception was extremely helpful and polite. He ordered me a taxi for the next day early morning (I had to catch a plane at the eairport) which was very reliable and economic. I had an apartment with separate bedroom (apa - The apartments are in the old part Tallinn so that sights of the town can be easily reached - it saves your precious time when you have a plan to walk around the old town early in the morning or in the night. We were traveling with two kids, and it turned out very good that the windows in the apartments overlook the quite courtyard. In fact, these are the brilliant apartments that are very comfortable and clean.
