It's a huge hotel with many restaurants. But it is beautiful. I had a lovely room, big enough to hold a dance in, and the bathroom was a dream. I stayed in the Towers extension and would highly recommend it. The half board package was great. probably the best location possible in cairo, right on the nile (just a couple of blocks away from tahrir square and the egyptian museum). i felt safe in the hotel..despite the revolution going on (with guns and tanks and protestors) just a couple of blocks away. :) the hotel security was good (with extra guards and metal detectors at the front entrance). also, the roof-top pool was very nice and welcoming.

There was an issue with the card room key system when I arrived - the staff was quick to provide a solution. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. -
I was amazed at number of good restaurants and variety under one roof. Each restaurant had its own beautiful ambience, decor, lighting, and excellent food.

The reception - Mamook is very helpful and friendly. My gf felt uncomfortable with the rooms and he immediately changed the bed sheets and everything else but when my gf still feels uneasy because of the theme of the room, he changed a new room for me!! His actions has sincerely touched us and his practical tips and jovial character made our stay so memorable. He is warm, caring and cares for all the visitor! Keep it up ! He is truly a gem in the hotel.

I like the hotel staff and facilties and the comfort, but the hotel is fair away from city. - I liked all the restaurant choices, the hotel staff was very friendly, they were able to cancel one of my friends room so she could stay in our room for 50 dollars more and got a twin bed for her.
