  very friendly staff, helpful and welcoming, nice atmosphere overall. beautiful beach (although swimming there might be an acquired taste, what with the icy wind), lovely little zoo. i'd imagine it to be a wonderful place to go with your children. for a young couple like us, it was an unusual environment, but we got used to it quickly and really en... hva folk sier » joyed our stay. by car, it's not far from Løkken with its unique beach in the south and the impressive Rubjerg Knude, which you can see from the path - The owners, were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much for them. Very clean and comfortable. 2 minute easy stroll into the main bit of town I visited Skagen in "low/closed" season but there were 2 other appartments in use, both sets of guests were very quiet.   Quiet - The room was clean, the beds were okay. Not a luxuruouis hotel, but all the basic facilities are there and are good. One WiFi account registration worked on several devices at the same time for me. - small town, old hotel, well- run with a helpful, friendly staff who always had the time to answer questions even though they were busy.

He's an elderly gentleman, and seemed to be slightly hard of hearing, but understood Norwegian just fine. I did not talk to him in English, so I don't know how good his English is. The breakfast table was lavish (typical Danish breakfast food), and well worth the 50 DKK extra. Very comfortable beds.
