Set in the heart of the Old Town, Vila Baguc is only a 5-minute walk from the UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace. Bačvice Beach can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The property is set only 200 metres from the seaside. All rooms and suites are individually decorated with a combination of stone walls and hardwood floors. Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and cable TV come with each accommodation unit. Guests can enjoy views of the Old Town from their rooms. Marjan Hill is suitable for hiking or biking. Baguc Villa offers organised snorkelling and fishing trips on a boat. Beautiful Dalmatian islands of Hvar, Brač, Šolta and Vis can be reached on a ferry that runs a couple of times per day. Split Bus and Train Stations, as well as a Ferry Port, are a 10 minute walk from Vila Baguc.

This was a fabulous location. The staff were amazingly helpful in recommendations and places to see. They even saved us a parking spot outside the villa. There is parking nearby also. We stayed in a renovated donkey stable that was full of character. Extremely clean and had air conditioning , fridge etc. the location was on thee edge of the old city and walking distance to all the main sights and resturants. A family run business . Breakfast was delicious ! Highly recommend this accomodation.

Steps away from narrow streets...steps away from public park...perfect spot to enjoy Split. Delicious breakfast buffet - even local treats to go with great coffee. Pero & Katja such warm and welcoming hosts. Can't imagine any place nicer to begin a vacation on the Dalmatian Coast. Beautifully decorate with top of the line amenities, comfort and design in an old castle like house in the middle of a traditional residential neighbourhood but walking distance to everything else. Loved the view to the backyard and the old feeling of being in a small hotel. Didn't get to try the breakfast but all the staff were really nice to deal with and very helpful. Location: very good, just in the boarder of the old town, walking distance of the restaurants and attractions. Staff: Very helpful and polite. Accommodation: comfortable and clean. Good value for money. Great location inside old city of split, lovely clean stylish room. Owner went to a lot of trouble to make our stay pleasant . Everything about this place is delightful. The most important - ac - worked perfectly:-). The owner was very helpful, and the service was good. Hard to find the way to accomodation with the car as it is so close to the old city that there are many streets that are pedestrian only. Enquire when booking about the best way in. Almost no signage on the premise or instruction before arrival or during the signup process on where and how to check-in!. No complaints. Hard to find, look for the number on the wall on the main street as it is down a little alley and up the stairs. You must ring to tell them you have arrived as there isn't a reception area. Room described view of old town, but had no view. The hot water is enough only for 1 person to take a shower and we were not informed about it...It was not nice after a long beach day for my husband not to be able to refresh for dinner. When we complained to the owner he said - `thank you for your info, I will check.`No compensation or sorry... The bf is poor and in a tiny room without the windows. We never had bf there. Instead went to the sea and had a beautiful bf with the great view for 9,50 euros. The place was very difficult to find in a narrow alley--parking impossible.
