The host was very friendly and helpful. She also serves breakfast which is highly recommended as there are very few restaurants in the area the closest one is around 3 kms near Seliste market/ bus stop but serves amazing food in good price. Plitvice lakes is approximately 3-4 kms, very close if driving if not be ready for walking/hiking the tickets cost 110 kuna's and its beautiful.Grad slunj is approximately 10kms away and is a must visit. alle vurderinger » We loved our time in smoljanac. We had a warm welcome from our hosts. It was really easy to find and very close to beautiful plitvice lakes. The room was clean and comfortable, excellent value for money. It was a real treat to be able to swim in the river below the house and cool off after a very hot day walking round the lakes(& not being able to swim in the lakes!). It was a very pleasant stay here. The owner waited for us (we cam arround 9 pm.) and served complementary drinks. The rooms where very pleasant, clean, spacious, mountain like. We had a perfect breakfast and a coffee stop in the back resting area. Perfect! We where 2 very happy couples! Close to the entrance to Plitvice (which is a wonderful park). My first impression when I arrived was that I had chosen the right place to stay. Great hosts, very attencious and lovely. Very pleasant place, only 3 km from entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes. Hosts really make you feel good and well-treated, the room was nice and food was very good. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!. Ruza met us so kindly with a welcome drink and warm smile. She took time to make sure all our needs were met. The location was perfect and very beautiful ! Breakfast was great, Ruza went out of her way to find us something to eat since we are vegans. Warm and inviting home environment . Ruja and Dragan were such nice people, very welcoming and they have such big hearts. The rooms are simple but comfortable and the fresh air from the mountains makes for a goodnight sleep. Me and my friend were very pleased with our stay and absolutely loved our hosts. Very friendly host who treated us to glasses of Rakija on arrival! We were checking in very late but no problem with that at all. Rooms very large and bed comfortable. Very close to Plitlivice Lakes! and what a gorgeous views from the windows ....just stunning!. Dragan and Ruza are great people who always do their best to make it comfortable for guests. It´s a nice place for people who want to visit the Plitvice Lakes. It was my second stay there and I´d always come back to Rooms Ruza!. stayed only one night, but find very friendly and helpful owner who speaks also english. value for money is the best description for this place. would stop there again. good access to Plitvicke jezera. Absolutely lovely location, basic but very comfortable rooms, the owner made us a lovely breakfast each day for €5, very friendly owners, car parking, only 3km from the plitvice lakes. The breakfast and the house, the owner lady and the beautiful pleace is amazing and would like to recommend it to all people who love the nature and to be in a family athomosphere. Location is great if one has a car - in a small village off the main road. The location of Ruza is perfect, in the nearby of Plitvice National Park. A very quiet place with nice and friendly guests. Excellent host who went out of her way to help us. Ruza was situated aprox 4km from the lakes however walking is not a good idea as the roads is very busy and there are no pavements. The owner is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was well worth the 5euro. Friendly host, the pension is close to the Plitvite lakes (3 km away) and has a nice view to the mountains and a nice river crossing near by. Tranquil surroundings. Friendly staff. Wifi Amazing lightening storms. Clean fresh soft towels. :) The cherry rakija served by host was delitious. Rooms ruza was brilliant but don't go to the winner restaurant in the next village along. The food is overpriced and not great. Keep driving another 5km and you will find plenty of other lovely restaurants. There was a faint smell I think it came from the duvet cover in the room I was in but they also had extra blankets so it wasn't a big issue. Bathroom a tad small, but not a problem at all for one person. No real negatives. Bathroom could be modernized a little but it was very clean nonetheless. A couple of the power sockets weren't securely into the walls. I know this is common in southern Europe, and considered perfectly okay, but I am never comfortable with it. Nothing!. Bathroom was rather small (really a minor inconvenience). Nothing negative to say. We went to the plitvice lakes and had to walk up the hill with no path/side walk - I would recommend a car if you doing the same. No curtains or blinds so you will be up early :).. The shower could do with replacing, and you have to hold the shower head as there was no hook attachment. the bathroom wasn't very clean. Electric sockets hanging off the wall (x2). No fixed shower head rail in cubicle, so had to hold it whilst trying to wash. Pressure intermittent too. A coffee making facility would have been nice to have, especially after a drenching (it rains often).. You need a car as no taxis(although a local will happily charge you 100kn(£12.50) for the five minutes drive!!). Walking to plicvice park is a 20min dodgy trek as there's no footpath and the road is fast and windey. :( It was very cold in the room !!! The price on the letsbookhotel.com does not include the turist tax we had to pay it extra !!!.
