  We were sutisfied with everything in hotel Makarsa. Staff was friendly, everything was perfectly clean , breakfast was delicious. Perfect hotel and we hope we would come soon again. - great mixture of the mountain and sea views. good breakfast easy access to various restaurants.

  Well-located within the Old Town of Hvar with great harbour-front views; Suite 522 was spacious (must have been at least 40 sq m), well-designed in contemporary style and colours and had a 2-person jacuzzi in the bathroom which our four-and-half year old loved!   This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good. A very good a la carte resta... hva folk sier » urant (it also had a buffet restaurant but we didn't try it apart from breakfast which was good), a comfortable bar and plenty of outside seating for - Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem. In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great; wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service . Excellent breakfasts individually made if required.   Excellent hotel. Great facilities. The pool area is pretty special with wonderful views back towards Split. Better to stay here if visiting Split. - A stunning hotel with excellent facilities, friendly staff and overall worthy of its rating.

The breakfast was great too - adequate selection. The hotel has a large car park which we needed for our hire car. We took a taxi into old town only cost between 40 and 50Kuna about Eur 6 -7.
