  This was a great first stop on our holiday to Croatia! It took us a little while to find the place but that was entirely our fault as we were walking up the wrong street. Location wise it's in walking distance of old town but far enough away that it's perfectly peaceful. Yes there are steps, we counted 301 from old town to your front door, but if ... hva folk sier » you're concerned about hills or steps, I'd think twice about staying in Dubrovnik unless you're paying top dollar for the expensive hotels at the bott - The flat was well-kitted out with a kitchenette and very good wi-fi reception. The small balcony was perfect for two people to sit and appreciate the view over Dubrovnik. We were also supplied with clean towels after the second day and the bins were also cleaned daily. Once you’ve got use to the amount of steps from the old town, it is actually very close to everything you need. Finally, on our second booking the owner offered to pick us up from the bus station.

  We stayed in the Studio Apartment - Peline 13 (upstairs). This was an excellent location, about a 30-second walk (uphill) inside the north entrance of the old town. We arrived at night so we couldn't really tell where exactly we were, but the next morning we realized that our bathroom window opens right up to the tourists walking the wall!   We were lucky to stay at Rooms Ljubo for four nights, and we're so glad we did! The apartment was perfectly appointed and immaculate (Ljubo cleans daily), and the kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking-- which is great, as eating breakfast in the garden is not to be missed!
