Very friendly staff - picked us up from the bus station even though we hadn't arranged it in advance (we just started chatting to a local guy near the bus stop who turned out to be his neighbour - probably not that strange in little Korcula!), and there was a little bottle of grapa (strong grape-based digestif) in the fridge to greet us. Great location, very new and clean, no problems with any of the facilities, lovely little balcony too - very reasonable for 45 euros a night. Also, before I bo. alle vurderinger »
We had a room with a balcony overlooking a small garden area and beyond that the sea. Sergio and his wife, Simoni, made us very welcome and even put a small bottle of local spirit in the fridge for us. The Guest House was only a minute walk to the beach and the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our short stay at Guest House Leon
and would stay there again if we were in Korcula. Many thanks Sergio and Simoni.
Great proximity to the old town, the ferry port, the bus station as well
as a small swim-friendly beach. The owner picked us up (in pouring rain)
from the bus station to assist in the 2-minute walk to the apartments.
Wi-fi reception was good as well. Oh, and the owner even gave us a
traditional Grappa welcoming drink!.
Perfect location - just walked out and you were right in the middle of
the town. It was great because a short walk and you were at the beach,
harbour, shops, pubs and bus station. Owner was very friendly and gave
us a warm welcome. It was very clean.
The accommodation was basic, very clean, and our host was very helpful and friendly, we were met off the ferry and shown to our accommodation, which was 2 minutes walk from the old town, lots of restaurants, the ferries, and the main bus station.
- Comfortable clean room in a great location near old town. I had a room with balcony which was worthwhile.
- Leon was very hospitable and assisted in getting me acquainted with the area.
- Great shower and new bathroom.
- Good wifi.
Very cosy and comfortable room, new bathroom, right in centre of old town & good wifi. The house location is not obvious, so you should tell leon if you are coming by boat or bus & time and he might be able to meet you.
The location is as good as it can be, close to the busstation and boats. The room was small but very well planned and had everything you could ask for including a glimpse of the harbour and sea. Very price worthy!.
The site is very nicely designed and clean and has a equipment that meets needs of the traveler. the apartments are very nice for this type of accomodation. The location is great and the price too.
Compact room but with all mod-cons including a tiny balcony overlooking a square, great for people watching. Excellent location right at the point where Korcula old town meets the mainland.
The owner is really kind and helpful!! The room very well located, next to the city center, a supermarket and the ferry!! We found it easily as it is really close to the ferry!!.
Friendly greeting by Simoni. Room was very adequate for one night though would be cramped for much longer. Perfect location for the town and its facilities.
Very good value for money
Central location - very easy for ferries and Korcula Town
Friendly & enthusiastic host!.
Brilliant owner a real character. Central location. The owners wife made best cakes I've ever tasted.
excellent location! clean and comfortable.
Loaction. Owner was very helpful.
Host friendliness.
The only problem was the noise - the walls are quite thin between the rooms, and you can hear the floorboards above creak sometimes. But it's only a problem at night, because Korcula is so calm then, and if you have noisy neighbours - it was actually quite amusing at times! I wouldn't say it was enough of a problem to put me off staying there again, it was great value for money.
Although a fridge and kettle were provided, there were no cutlery
or crockery in the flat we rented, although it seems the other flat
had everything. The owner did supply us with the necessary utensils
when asked.
Room was a little on the small side. We stayed here for 2 nights because
we really loved this island. We had already stayed in another apartment
outside of town and we wanted to stay another 2 nights. Hence that is
why we booked this at last minute. It was great for the 2 nights. I
think any more than 3 in this apartment we would have found cramped.
We had no complaints.
- Curtains were sheer which had me waking up at 5am in the morning. (I had no problems catching the 6am ferry though).
- It was expensive. No room maintenance during my stay of 3 nights which I would expect for 70 euros a night (peak season though).
To come to the room you had to climb a narrow outside staircase.
During the day voices were heard from all directions (due to its central location) but nights were surprisingly silent and we slept well.
the heating should be a little better.
The wall are really thin so you can sometimes listen the neighbours and the street!!!.
The kettle was frustrating - it kept turning itself off. Not good for those who need their tea in the morning! Although it's probably fixed now.
Noisy at 5am while people rush to catch the morning catamaran to Split but this is the price you pay for a great central location!.
Noisy because of squeaky floor board in the floor above. No proper curtains.
Noise.
