  The staff were extremely helpful right from the beginning, from giving directions to certain attractions, booking taxis, to recommending restaurants. Everything they helped us with was brilliant, the restaurant the receptionist recommended was the best meal we ate all week, and not too expensive either - but still very romantic!   My husband and I stayed at Batala apartments for 3 nights and found it to be extremely good value in an otherwise fairly expensive city. Our double room was quite big and had an extra single bed and seating area as well. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower very very good.   Amazing apartment for a very good price. Kitchen with full equipment, large TV, gym, and washing machine. Fast and free WiFi available in all rooms. Very good location, it is easy to go by foot to the beaches or to the Old Town of Dubrovnik.
