Antonio was very accommodating. We arrived late (11 pm) and Vitto met
us at the Pile Gate, where he immediatley introduced himself and
guided us to the apartment. When we saw the many flights of stairs,
Vitto didn't hesitate to help us with our luggage. He was very
friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with a private
terrace so we felt very safe. There was a washing machine--good to
know for the light packer. Also, post check-out, Antonio helped us
secure another place for our . alle vurderinger »
Owner was very helpful as he rranged for us to be escorted to the apartment from the bus station.
Great communication before and during stay.
Excellent location.
Exactly as described.
Would definitely recommend to others!.
Nice location. Cute terrace. Very clean. Quite in the evenings. Family was helpful. It was an adventure to find the studio- please, take them up on the offer to meet you somewhere : ).
Very helpful owners. Nice and quiet. (A lot of stairs, so you must have good legs!).
Antonio & family were wonderful and helpful hosts!.
- The staff was always responsive to our emails and inquiries
- One of the family members waited for us at Pile gate and helped us with our luggage up the stairs
- The location of the room is just perfect - not very high up in a hilly city, 5 min walk (up and down) to Pile gate as well as to the main square in Dubrovnik
- The room was spacious, basic, and had a fridge and an AC
- And a lovely tree shaded patio.
Be aware, there are a lot of steps to take, but that goes with staying
in the Dubrovnik old town ... just pack light. The good side of the
location is that this place was quiet. Not for the feeble or those
needing assistance.
Loved it all.
Had trouble getting consistently hot water in the shower and there were
a ton of stairs (103, by my count) to get to the apartment (challenging
with large luggage). But other than that everything was great!.
To improve:
- Although it was great to feel like you're staying in an apt rather than a hotel room per se, a bit more interaction with the family would have been appreciated
- Room is very basic. We didn't mind it. But always good to bear that in mind
- It would be good to have a map or some suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the city as a packet in the room, esp. that you don't necessarily see the staff at all during the stay.
