  Rarely in life does reality exceed expectations but our stay here was restful sitting on the terrace deck reading or just watching the sea. The village of Cavtat had great restaurants, lots of places to swim, etc. what really made this place such a gem was the hosts - the first night we arrived exhausted after a very long trip from Western Canad... hva folk sier » a - in the fridge was cold beer and our hostess produced crepes with homemade jam. It was also of great relief to be collected at the airport. This - The owners were so friendly and the roof terrace was beautiful. We stayed in the smallest apartment and it was perfectly kitted out. We only stayed one night at the end of our trip due to the convenience to the airport and I wish we had stayed for longer as it was a beautiful little place. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Cavtat itself is lovely and if you are after a relaxing holiday with a nice place to stay with boat trips to Dubrovnik/Montenegro etc but away from the busy city of D
