  We booked a standard room in the Mercure and got an upgrade to a suite in the Grand Mercure which was fantastic! Couldn't fault anything at all. Pure luxury, room enormous, bed so comfy!! Breakfast was full western and eastern buffet with drinks served to the table. Staff excellent all round. Use of the leisure facilities in the Sofitel an added b... hva folk sier » onus. Highly recommended. - Nice hotel. Quite location in residential square with all Accor hotels nearby. Staff very efficiently, expecially we wish to thanks a lot Mr. Andy who gave us all necessary info's needed as well as train ticketing support.   We specifically booked a room with a street view in this hotel after reading reviews about the Bell Tower and the traffic that moves around it, and we were so pleased that we did. It is beautiful and fascinating to watch the traffic and people moving about especially at night. Buffet breakfast had a nice varie - The ideal location to the bell and drum towers, easy access to airport shuttle, English speaking staff, an unexpected treasure is Xi'an wish we had stayed longer..a city full of life and culture. Would recommend the visit not just to see the Terracotta Warriors this place offers more than that. Very enjoyable stay.
