The hotel is really good. We had free upgrade of a delux room to Diplomatic Suit. we were extremely happy. The room is hudge and nicely decorated. The views from the rooms are really nice.
The hotel has complementary shuttles to East railway station and Canton Center (just 10-15 minutes drive) -

The hotel was beautifully presented, very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Of the 3 hotels we have stayed in during our trip, this was by far our standout favorite. I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -

Booked in for a for a standard room and because my birthday was the following week, I was upgraded with a suite, and given wine and chocolate. Wonderful gesture, but as I had a 1am flight, wasn't able to take full advantage of staying the night. It will definitely be the hotel I stay in while in GZ. -

This is a new hotel which is modern, clean and very comfortable. My bedroom was excellent as were the facilities. The western restaurant served good food and the head chef has created some good nouveu cuisine dishes. Will I go again next year, most definitely yes! -
