  Good location, take the exit 4 at Yu Yuan Garden Station, cross the intersection, after the ICBC, you'll find the hotel. Close to some attraction such as: Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, People Square, Huahai Road and others. Nice room with Flat TV, water, ac ( could be a room heater during the cold weather), internet, wate - Beddings, blankets and mattresses were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, there was one who spoke fluent english. The location was absolutely perfect.

  Good location. good value for the money. 10-15 minutes walk to People's Square. 2 minutes walk to the MTR station (easily reach from both airports). About 20-25 minutes walk to the Bund street. Clean room, comfortable bad, large bathroom with huge shower. The street where the hotel is located is central, although not very nice ( we didn't care so ... hva folk sier » much). - Top location in shanghai, hotel is newly built, modern design, super clean and the beds are heavenly soft (even for European standards). Definitely recommended for everybody looking for a decent hotel in the center of shanghai.

  I was looking for a hotel with historical character, reasonable prices and a convenient location. Marvel provided all of these. The building certainly has a special historical charm, but the rooms are functionally modern. To my pleasure, there was very little traffic noise, despite being on a very busy street.   Stayed here for four nights in May 2013. We were upgraded to a boutique suite at check in in the 5th floor. Most of the pictures online are for rooms on this floor. The room was very nice, spacious by China standards and clean. Bed was hard but this is normal in China. The bathroom appeared recently re-done. Shower pressure was great. The hotel advertised a western bre - We were given a free upgrade upon check-in and stayed in a nice room on the 5th floor. It was really clean, spacious and I really liked the design (a bit kitchy, literally everything in the room was green, but quirky and definitely not your usual hotel room). Bathroom was also clean and roomy, with all necessary amenities, towels changed daily.
