  The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. Wonderful gesture, but as I had a 1am flight, wasn't able to take full advantage of staying the night.   For me is the 3rd time i stayed at Baiyun Hotel. It is a good hotel if you go to Guangzhou for Business. Indeed it is a Chinese hotel and you can have some little difficulties with the language and cigarette (if you are not a smoker). Just in front of the hotel you have a metro station, and a commercial street with many options for international and chinese restaur - The staff were very helpful and many of them spoke English or were able to ask someone else to answer any questions we had. The choice of food was great. Nearly all the written information in the room was in English as well as Chinese! Generally an amazing hotel, staff and facilities.

  This is a luxurious, comfortable hotel in which to stay. Staff are friendly, courteous, efficient and very helpful. The hotel is within central Guangzhou, close to two beautiful parks and close enough to sights of interest.
