Only 50 metres from Dali Old Town, Dali Five Elements Hostel provides private affordable rooms with either a shared or private bathroom. Surrounded by gardens, the property also has free Wi-Fi, a water fountain and a shared public computer. A small library and fee-based bicycle rentals are available. Sitting on the foot of Cangshan Mountain, Dali Five Elements Hostel is a 10-minute drive from Er Lake. It is a 20-minute drive from Dali Railway Station and a 40-minute drive from Dali Airport. On-site parking is free. Simply furnished, all rooms come with a wardrobe and tea bags. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are provided upon request. Everything. Food is really good. Rooms with private bathroom are perfect. People are friendly and speak English. They can advice you to know what to do during your trip and help you for booking transports tickets. Location is good (close to the old townand the lake) because you can use bikes (10yuan for 5hours). Stuff was very friendly and breakfast and coffee the best I had in China. Location good, very near to old town. They offered tickets to attractions and free transfers to there which was nice.

Guests are advised to bring their own toothbrush, as it is not provided at the hostel. For stays during Chinese public holidays (e.g. Chinese New Year), Dali Five Elements Hostel requires a pre-payment of the total amount to guarantee the booking. The property will contact guests directly with payment instructions via bank transfer. Please kindly note, the property requires a full deposit for all bookings made for the the National Day period. The period is from 1 October until 7 October 2017. Guests are required to pay the deposit within 48 hours to guarantee the reservation.
