Has a distinctive identity and stands out, in a quiet, safe and lovely neighborhood. Can walk to most of the places of interest and spots in town, if one has the aptitude.
Almenas is a nice cosy home/hostel, comfortable place to sleep in and a clean complete private bath (have to opt for it though).
The staff is professional and courteous. And yes, Wi-fi is available and works very well. Breakfast was simple but sufficient as one would eat at home.

After traveling for 5 months it was great to stay somewhere that felt like a home away from home! We liked the friendly and helpful staff and how close it was to the subways and restaurants. We also liked the rooms where people could congregate and visit and get to know each other. The kitchen was easy to use and very clean and quite a good size. The rooms had good ventilation and ours was a great size and had a really vomfortable bed. -
