I thought that this was really awesome. I had some troble sleeping at first since I'm not used to sleep in the same room as others, but when I changed for a private one it was so luxurious. Even the honeysmell of the soap. I loved the design and that the kitchen was so fresh. And the bog windows displaying the mountains was such a great deal. We had a private room, it was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. We had our own big bathroom & big room with a double bed. Massive communal kitchen with plenty of space to cook & store food. Delicious meals at the cafe. Very friendly staff. Bus stop right outside the front door.
alle vurderinger » Friendly staff, lots of options for activities. We rented mountain bikes at hostel wich was great. The area is very nice, several lakes are easily reached. Busses powered on fuelcells. Hostel trying hard to reduce CO2 footprint. I like the bus system to the village, the coffee shop, atmosphere in the kitchen when cooking. Cleanness of bedrooms. Localization far from the noise of village . Close to beautiful hiking trails. Private room was a good size, had a nice tv and clean washroom. Mountain view. Friendly people everywhere, made friends both times I entered the common area. Clean, very large and modern bright room with excellent, shared kitchen and sitting/dining room room facilities in the former Winter Olympic Village. The staff were very helpful and friendly, clean and tidy place, has a good hostel vibe to it, reasonable price plus bus stop just outside of the place. We stayed in a private room and it was just as good, as if not better then many hotel rooms we have stayed in. Very clean and new, it was great. Very nice room. Good price Close to Whistler village and there is bus that is coming in the parking to bring us to the village for $2.50. The staff was awesome. The kitchen was great. Mountain view, perfect place to Rome on the woods and mountain and find hidden treasures. It was very quiet. No noise from the other rooms nor noise from building mechanical systems (AC, heating). Internet was included. It was quite new and nice. We stayed in the double room and although it was simple, it was very nice and spacious. Great value, 4 bedroom dorms were clean and quiet with one bathroom between 4. Kitchen/dining area was great. Price, very clean, comfortable. Has a nice little cafe downstairs and all amenities you need. Good location. I really liked the equipment storage, it is pretty cool and makes you excited to hit the mountain. It was a backpacker, but felt like a hotel. Very clean and there was everything you would need. One of the nicest hostel (HI franchise) I have been to. Cheap price. Didn't have to drive to Pemberton for a deal. Staff was great. Facilities were what was expected. clean and modern room, nice view out of the window. Bought discounted lift tickets from the front desk. 1. Nice common areas and kitchen facilities. It was very chilled with wifi and conveniently located next to a bus stop so one could get a coach / public transport very easily .. Rooms were clean and it was a nice private kinda place. It's affordable. Internet was a little slow. A little too far from Whistler Village. Only one little general store in town. Theres not much around the hostel in terms of restaurants and Whistler is about 50min by bike. With a car is all easily manageble though. It worries me that the kitchen is not as clean as it used to be last year. the heat was hard to regulate(the window was open it was comfortable or cold and closed it was too hot. Being 30yrs old I found the bed to be something that would have been ok 10 years ago. Of course it would be nice to be closer to the village, but then it wouldn't be budget-friendly!. Nothing. very good place. That it was far away from Whistler village. But they have excellent bus services that run every 15 minutes to bring you where you have to go with ease. A few more pictures (shots from around Whsitler?) in the room to make it cozy. Nothing else around the building to do. Location. I also didn't like the kid that served us breakfast. He clearly had no patience to be a waiter. A bit far out of town but only a few mins drive. No A/C. The fact that the kettion is 24/7, they close it at med-night I guess. I think it is more for holidays and not for travellers. To far from the chairlift. a little out of the way if non driver, but good bus service to Whistler. N/A. Requires a car as it's a bit far from Whistler village. Some cafe staff weren't familiar with services on offer. Nothing,I like everything. far from actual whistler. not much around the "olympic village" where the hostel was. got to have a car to stay here No AC. Busy and sometimes noisy hostel. Location. 1 particular staff member was very rude - the rest of the staff was cordial and willing to help. Waiting time for the check-in (only one person for a lot of customers). The bed quality was more like that of a folding bed than a real bed (even though we were in a private double room), too soft, and squeaky. And don't forget to add the HI non-member fee of 15.42 (+tax) if you are not a member. The windows shutter did not really keep the light out in the morning. Far from whistler village, but ok for us as we had a car. Kitchen facilities, but then this was my first stay at a hostel. You get what you pay for. A microwave in the room would have done nicely. Elevator needs repair. Internet was miserable. Kitchen and common areas were small for that many people staying. Question when people check in should be "do you snore". I didn't sleep a wink the entire week. Location far away from centre of Whistler. We got only one towel a person, and no wascloth. Stayed there for two days. Wasnot even offered to clean or tidy up the room not to mention changing bedding and towels. 1. No available parking nearby. I was told to park 2 blocks up the street. 2. My assigned bed was taken. Linens not all there for available bed. 3. The price I was quoted on 'letsbookhotel.com' was the members price - my price was higher. 4. When calculating 4 beds in a small room at almost $40 each = $160; for that little room: It seems prettly pricey. The rooms are way too small and the common areas are really sterile and noisy. The noise level is general was way too loud. I couldn't even talk on my phone comfortably.
