  We were received by the owner of the hotel. He is very kind and give us all the info to visit and eat in Baie St .Paul. The room was really clean and the bad are big and confortable. - Very friendly receptionist. Stayed late so we could check in on time.   My sister and I stayed 5 nights and found Motel de la Pente Douce to be an excellent value. The double room was equipped with a fridge, a coffee maker and even wine glasses. The location made it very easy both to visit Magog and hike on Mount Orford. The motel is located on a busy road, but there was no traffic at all during the night, - Accommodations were perfect for our needs. Could not have been cleaner or more convenient. Continental breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette allowed us to spread out some. We would definitely stay again!

  We were just stopping by to sleep in before continuing our drive. We would be quite happy to sleep just about anywhere, so we were very surprised how spacious the rooms were. We booked 2 rooms with one bed each, expecting to share one of the beds. We got one room with a bed and a coach and the second bed with two beds. That was a big bonus for us!... hva folk sier » The breakfast was good too. It is always nice to start a day with a breakfast :) The owners were very friendly. They did not speak much English but i - Loved the beds, loved the duvets, loved that my kids each had thier own (Bunk) beds. The breakfast, including fresh homemade egg bread, was far nicer than the standard "continental breakfast" and greatly increased the value for the money! Although the proprietors don't speak much English, they make the effort and seemed to appreciate our efforts to speak French. I think we both learned a little from each other! :)

  I was very pleasantly surprised by this motel. It's budget priced BUT it was clean, friendly and bilingual. I was doing genealogy on my family in the area so it's location was close to the Archives, churches and cemeteries that I needed to visit. Interestingly... the type of cars in the parking lot were much higher quality than I expected for ... hva folk sier » a motel... and the guests that I spoke with were regulars each year. I will definitely return and do recommend it. - Motel was as billed: clean, comfortable rooms at an excellent price. Although the motel is on a very busy road, the rooms are at right angles to it and therefore actually reasonably quiet. Staff was courteous and unobtrusive. At my request, my daughter was moved from the single (cheaper) room I had booked, which was across the courtyard, to the larger room right next to ours at no extra cost.

  I had never had such a delicious breakfast! And personnel is very friendly! It is very clean over there. Wi-Fi has a good speed and people look just relaxed! - Lot cheaper than hotels in Quebec City and reasonably close to the ferry to cross the river to Quebec City (Old Quebec City). Nice breakfast included.
