We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, everything was fresh and some of the ingredients came from chef's garden it was one of the best meals we had

CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Did not want to leave

Great and very helpful stuff. Romantic and interesting design - my wife was really impressed by the bath tube in the living room. There is no a TV set in room which is good for us. Finally, there was enough fire wood for the fireplace :)

Beautiful location on the ski hill. Would be perfect for skiing as the
gondola is right out your back door. We were there in the summer and
amenities were a bit scaled back. Great rooms and hotel staff was great.

For the money what I had was literally a nice apartment. The tub was amazing with its relaxing jets but as a shower it stunk. It has a full kitchen with quality pots and dishes, not the usual hotel crud. We loved the stay. The manager is so friendly and nice and the restaurant was inexpensive and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and it was right there in the village of Ganges which is full of fun stores full of Art. Salt Spring Island has so many wonderful artists. We also loved Rita the cat who welcomed us at the reception desk. We would go back tomorrow if we could.
