Fantastic experience for a budget-friendly visit to Niagara Falls. The owners and staff were extremely pleasant and exceedingly helpful. The accommodations, although not luxurious and somewhat dated, were more than adequate, and it was obvious that the bathroom had been updated tastefully. The motel itself, including the outdoor pool and deck, was scrupulously clean, and the added convenience of an in-room refrigerator was most helpful. alle vurderinger » The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to all the attractions. You are right on Ferry Street, a main street in Niagara Falls, lined with souvenir shops and restaurants. It felt extremely safe day and night. We arrived late, at 8.30pm, dropped our bags and went exploring. The place is definitely a budget motel BUT for what it lacks in modern conveniences it absolutely makes up for in hospitality! The staff were wonderful and so friendly -- quick to give tips, recommendations or to ju. The location was nice. very close to everything without the noise from it. The room smelled bad (some cleaning chemicals mb). airing helped. The furniture and blankets are well worn but overall in good condition. Coffee machine and fridge were good. Massive ice machine near the office. 10% off in the nice place for breakfast (Continental Pancakes). We had no problem with parking. 15 min walking to the falls/maid of the mist, 10 minutes to Cliff Hill. The hotel is in a great location. It's a 10 minute walk to the falls and most attractions. The rooms are kep tidy and very clean. The gentleman at the front desk, David was friendly and courteous and made us feel welcome. The pool was nice and clean. We rated in room 114 which was at the front facing the Main Street but it wasn't too noisy. We would recommend the Kings Inn to those who are looking for a basic room at a good price. We were shown a couple of rooms and were able to choose the one that best suited us. Our room was VERY clean! :) The room had a mini-Keurig coffee machine in it, as well as a small fridge. There was no shampoo or conditioner, but we had brought out own. The owner was very pleasant. It was an easy walk to the casino, and the conference centre that we were visiting. I would definitely consider staying here again. All staff exceptional, clean and cost effective room. Pool is very clean and no charge for parking that close to the Falls...... to be honest why would you pay anymore to go to the big chains pay twice the money, pay for parking, wait in the lines for elevators etc. etc. Niagara Falls is an expensive place to visit but save your money, stay here and you can have more money to do the other things you love!. I just loved the place. The man at the front desk was very kind and helpful and he let us park our car after we checked out for hours, even though they have limited space only for there guests. The rooms were so clean and crisp and bathrooms were very tidy. I would recommend this place and next time I go to Niagara Falls I will stay here. The falls are walking distance from this place. The gentleman at the front desk couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. The location was an easy walk to the falls, on the WEGO busline. It had a nice flat screen TV, and the Jaccuzzi was very clean. Its in a great location away from all the noise, but close enought to the action. It was a great location because all of the attractions were within walking distance, however we were still away from the noise and commotion of Clifton Hill. Great price as well!. The Front desk clerk was amazing. He might have been the owner of the place. He was incredibly nice and funny. He took time to describe the local attractions and even helped us get our luggage up to our room even though we didn't get in until after midnight. Staff was super friendly, eager to help with everything, informative on sights to visit, restaurants for specific foods (don't miss Betty's for seafood, a local old-time restaurant, good and cheap). Small things -- the bathroom could be better equipped (more towels, bath mat, soap, etc). And for some reason there was a little bit of an odor to the room. These things did not detract from our stay though!. There was a soap but no shampoo in our rooms. Very old TV with 4 channels in very poor picture and sound (may be it is important for somebody), no hairdryer. Nothing. Nothing specific really. But if I had to say then limited condiments pouches in the room for coffee but when called at front desk they sent us more. WI-FI service was poor, did not work properly and had no connection. The room was a bit pricey as well...for one night. Curtains and bed spread was outdated. Just needs renovation. Bathroom had no door. No microwave. The rooms are outdated. The sheets are not made mostly of polyester and have low thread count so it feels a little rough on the skin and does not allow the skin to breathe. There is no elevator. However it is only a three level walk up. It would not be good for handicapped or those who have difficulty with stairs. Only negative was that smoking was allowed outside each room on the balcony. However, it makes sense to ensure no smoking IN the rooms. Parking was terrible. Television had limited channels. Bathtub had high sides and was hard to get in and out of. No hand towels or tissues. Bed was too soft. Nothing. Canada's 13% tax on everything!. Nothing - have stayed there twice now and would certainly go back. nothing. The WiFi was spotty but it worked. the bathroom and sink were not favorable --needed to be more spacy in the commode/shower area---otherwise great and very clean --wish we could have stayed longer. Just a bit far from the tour spot, but if u got a car that isn't a problem:). WiFi access was limited but hey you get what you pay for. Only soap provided, internet went off on the last day and tv was little weird- same movies for all 4 days, but at the end we didnt go there for tv. Fall r 5 min walk. 1. Bedding blanket on bed nearest the door had a spill/stain on it. 2. The plumbing can be heard through the walls if you are a light sleeper. Nothing. TV was an old tube TV, but we didn't watch TV anyway. Nothing, very good value. No complaints. Bathroom was clean but could use some upgrading...i had a dificult time getting shower to work due to stiff handle. Don't go to the breakfast buffet over the road, the food is like cardboard but just a few yards further they cook everything fresh. Parking--very crowded and not near enough to room. beds were uncomfortable, pillows too thick. couldn't blast the air conditioning because lamp was right above it and the higher we put it the more the lamp would shake. very few channels on the tv and the channels we got played the same movies over and over. no shampoo or conditioner in rooms. no wifi. should have been an extra garabage or two. even with all the lights on room isn't that bright. A box of tissues and a hair dryer would help but are not essential.
