  We loved the adjoining suites for our extended family from out of town, the large TV screens. The Nespresso coffee maker and milk frother were an amazing find in one of our suites.No fuss breakfasts were great, with a good variety of foods, even for our gluten and dairy free member, lots of space for our grandson to wander around. You don't even have to pull out your laptop! Computer AND PRINTER all in your room. Free laundry on one floor, exercise room, great free breakfast and close enough to walk downtown to the tourist areas. Four or so blocks down side street to Rideau Canal -- great walking site! Will definitely stay here again if I have the pleasure of another trip there.

  The hotel absolutely accommodated my somewhat specific requests about not having a room close to elevator, ice machine, not having an adjoining room and otherwise potentially noisy areas.   Our room rate was $111 plus tax. It was a suite with lots of space. A kitchenette fully stocked with necessary dishes, utensils, pots pans, full size refrigerator, microwave. Dozens of restaurant - The Cartier Place is a wonderful hotel. Centrally located to many of the attractions. One feature that we enjoyed was the kitchenette. Helped save us a little money by cooking breakfast in the morning so we were not rushed to get out of the hotel in the mornings to find something to eat.

  It's centric. My room and my bed were big. Good/affordable meals. - The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Pierre who was working the front desk on Dec 31st and Jan 1st he was outstanding in his customer service. Our interaction with Pierre made the trip memorable.

  The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding. We had a problem with the air conditioning. Someone came to look at it and said it was working fully but that the room was not cooling.   The room was quite comfortable and clean. It was perfect having the desk space as I could set up and work there during the evening. The couch was perfect for watching TV rather than having to sit/lie on the bed. The location was perfect -- halfway between my son's apartment (university student) and the Byward Market. It is a bit out of the way (and close to a somewhat run down area), yet in reality, super-close to everything that matters in downtown Ottawa, and easy access to transportation.
