  The owners are charming. Responded quickly to questions we emailed before we arrived. Room super clean, quiet, safe. Comfortable beds. Free Internet.   I enjoyed being in the inside walls of the city of Quebec. That great feeling of walking the wonderful streets and shops open ate till almost 11pm.Park your car for $20 for 24 hours. Wonderful place as a last inexpensive choice of $146 to stay in the city walls - the location was great for my visit as i was visiting a Masonic Lodge which meets a ... hva folk sier » 5 minutes walk from where I was staying.   I traveled to QC with my son, who was there for a conference. The place was very simple and completely adequate for our needs-which were a place to sleep, wash, relax after a long day, quiet and privacy. These were all provided for at the Manoir. It was also convenient to other destinations outside of the city. Some have complained about the break... hva folk sier » fast - but we found it adequate for our needs. Also the staff directed us to a local supermarket and we purchased things for other meals which they le - Everything was pretty basic but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was fine, room was comfortable and there were no issues with the shared bathroom. The location was really handy for all the main areas of Quebec and for the train station, which was good for us. There were a lot of restuarants and shops very close to the hotel.
