The Chateau Louis is an older hotel with modern amenities added, the suites are fantastic roomy, comfy and very nice with a queen bed and flat screen television and cable. fridge in room, really great and roomy shower and bathroom with a phone in the bathroom. The Dining room was easy to find and had a great menu selection, with a grand and fully satisfying breakfast selection from cereal to yogurt, fresh fruit to eggs,sausage bacon & pancakes etc. They also had an Italian parlor bar, whic.
alle vurderinger » We were very pleased to find our breakfast was included in our room rate. The dinning room was very neat and clean the tables were well set up. The breakfast was fresh with lots of choices. I was impressed with the amount of fresh fruit offered. We were at the hotel for a family celebration which was held at the conference centre. Our meal was very impressive and the service was very good. I would recommend the hotel. My only complaint was since we had flown in because of the flooding we di. Staff very friendly. Very close and handy to the conference. Old building but very clean and quiet. I didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. The evening meal I had in the Dining Room was excellent. The room was adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure that we were able to get a cab to our VIA train when the shuttle was not available and gave us the money to pay for the cab. Cleaning staff are awesome,when we arrived home I realized I had forgotten a bag at the hotel?I called them ,they found the bag and mailed it to me promptly!incredible is all I can say!. Bed was very comfortable, love the decore, great food, service in restraunt was not the best in the morning we had to find a coffee pot and refill own coffee. I will stay there again. The buffet breakfast was very good --- I especially enjoyed the waffle machine. Access to wifi and daily papers was great. Staff were courteous and helpful. The "cleaning "staff were great and when we informed them of what we needed to do in our room.=Done. Breakfast menu was very good. Will stay there again. I enjoyed Just about everything. It is an older hotel & you can see signs of it's age. I've stayed here once before & I would stay again. I really liked the look of the hotel the room was very nice. The only think I missed was a dvd player and a micro-wave. For my breakfast in the morning which was included, the Dining Room staff would not let me take it back to my room. I was told it had to be eat-in only. I would have preferred to take a tray to my room. The location was a bit out of downtown area but since we were taking the train, it was actually why we chose this hotel since it was close to the station. The only thing was that there either had been smokers in the room. You could smell the smoke each time you entered the room and the fan was left on to help. When I got home my clothes smelled of smoked. no pool. No Complaints or concerns. Bed bugs. We had 2 lights that didn't work. one above the door entrance and one around the make-up mirror..we reported it but nothing was done during our stay there. 2nd floor, non smoking room - you could smell the cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in. Changed to the first floor which was much better make your hotel non smoking in all rooms. nothing. -Hair dryer did not work. Wife not happy. Supper and lunch smorg very expensive Would recommend to other travellers to stay there but find another place to eat. Chairs in entrance need a cleaning No special rates for seniors. Room was too warm and couldn't adjust by thermostat. Breakfast was included & nice, but breakfast staff could be more friendly & helpful. I've been in the hotel industry for 8 yrs I have done front desk and housekeeping. And your bathroom was bad hair In the tub pee stains on the bottom of the toilet on the side. I think your housekeeping staff might need to be retrained. My room had laminate flooring ang so did the room next to me and when they walked around with there shoes on it kept me awake, also only had the option to book for 2 people not 1 so it cost me more money?.
