First time I had visited Ruse and and looked on it as an ideal stopping off point between Sofia and Bucharest. Glad I made the choice to stop off in the city and stay in the Vega. Lovely little city and lovely hotel ideally situated on the city square which was surrounded by lovely historical buildings, bars and restaurants. The hotel is 5 minutes

Everything about this place said class; from the umbrellas at the entrance to the individually wrapped truffles on the pillows. The décor was fresh and tasteful, the showers amazing and the beds very comfortable. The location for a city break in Ruse is superb with the main square steps away.

Great hotel, very close to the pedestrian square but a few blocks off so it was quiet at night. Everything was nice, clean and modern, bit still retained some charm. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and the staff were very nice and helpful - especially checking out. They arranged our transportation to Bucharest for us which was great since we only know a few words of Bulgaria. Overall a great stay in Ruse.

Really cute, comfortable place to stay. Great location, right around the
corner from the pedestrian shopping street and very close to the Freeom
Square area. There's just the one suite at this location, so
it's not a regular hotel type rental, but we enjoyed the privacy.

We loved our room on the 9th floor. It was very spacious with a great view of the river and city.Secure parking was included which, we found to be a plus point. The rooms are nicely design and were very comfortable. Our bathtub was even fitted with a whirlpool system. Breakfast was great, enough choices and also offering great views of the river. The hotels is in walking distance to the city center.

(reception, lobby, restaurant etc) are outstanding, speak good
English and can discuss Premier League football. The rooms are well
furnished and comfortable - we prefer the small suites. Dining on the

Everything was really good. No complaints at all. I filled in this questionnaire before I found out if they have a washing machine which if the do would make the facilities excellent instead of just good. I am sure that I will be able to use their private machine if they don't have one for the guests because the staff/owner is really friendly and

Our room was very comfortable and clean. We especially liked being provided with a choice of breakfast foods in the kitchen refrigerator which we could access every morning and prepare ourselves and take to the terrace at the front of the building. We could also prepare dinner in the kitchen if we wished.
The owner, Veselka ( known as Vasi ) was particularly kind and helpful. She speaks very good English so we were able to have some good conversations.
