Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean,
quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is
excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.

Location was perfect for the end of our 2 weeks in Brazil. A good place to get away from the hectic life of the more active beaches. Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

For me this was a unique experience. Loved the 'totally tropical' vibe. Room 6 was a wonderfully large, airy, comfortable space in which to relax and recharge after hectic days in downtown Rio. The staff are what made this hotel worth the money. In particular Yuri
and LIsa. They were so helpful with recommendations, calling restaurants
