  All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. People outside the hotel don't speak English. - Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well.   Easy free collection from airport,the courtesy phone is easily spot able as you exit terminal 1 or 2 arrivals. The shuttle arrived promptly the check in staff were excellent. We dined at the hotel Buffett late and were welcomed later a travel group arrived after the buffet should have closed but were again welcomed warmly by the staff. The management and staff are to be.congratulated on - Fantastic hotel, great staff. All the staff here spoke fantastic english, and really helped us out when our flight home was cancelled! They provided a driver service to take us to copacabana beach for the day, which was much cheaper than a normal taxi. They also allowed us to take a shower and use hotel towels etc before our flight home, even though we had already checked out. Service here was exemplary I would recommend it to anybody
