  Overall was an excellent experience. Juliana met us at the port and brought us to our rooms. The bed was nicely decorated with fresh flowers in a heart shape. Breakfast is spectacular. Pancakes and the bruschetta being personal highlights. Close enough to everything, yet far enough away fro peace and quiet when you want it. The cabins are situated... hva folk sier » best for two couples I think. We were in 7 while 8 was being renovated, so we had a lot of privacy. You can take day trips from there after enjoying - Pousada de Porto de Cima is a wonderful choice! The rooms are bungalows set in a forested area (no mosquitos) lush with exotic flowers and blue hummingbirds, very quiet, and yet just a small walk to the best restaurants and hubbub of the island. There is a isolated beach just down the hill from the hotel where you can swim and take peaceful walks. The family running the pousada are helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make everything wonderful, and I still retained my independe
