We heard it's the best hotel in Morro and it's probably true.
Everything was great. The position is just perfect, close to the
'segunda praia' (you can walk there along the beach or take the
free hourly jeep from the pousada) but laying in between the quiet and
stunning 3rd and 4th beaches. Common facilities are great, clean and big

Very friendly staff, welcoming, they organised pedicure and manicure for us and massages ad hoc, great rooms, we loved the balcony with the hammocks. Great breakfast. Good shuttle service to town, but it is also easy to walk to the little town if you use the beachfront. Great to relax and quiet. If you like noice and party stay at the center, if you like it quiet but close to the beach the place is perfect!

Pousada de Porto de Cima is a wonderful choice! The rooms are bungalows set in a forested area (no mosquitos) lush with exotic flowers and blue hummingbirds, very quiet, and yet just a small walk to the best restaurants and hubbub of the island. There is a isolated beach just down the hill from the hotel where you can swim and take peaceful walks. Vila Guaiamu benefits from being away from the noisier end of Morro de Sao Paulo and, consequently, is very relaxed and quiet . The extensive grounds are very well maintained and natural .One can relax in total privacy. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable though not luxurious and the staff are charming and helpful.

Everything was great, but the most important was Tharsis, who received us in an unbeatable way! The place is very quite and morro is spectacular.
