They were really helpful in organizing our trips at site/taxis/etc. For the trips to see the park you get picked up direct - The owners Michael and Josiane were extremely hospitable and made our stay extra special. We were expected to arrive late in Barreirinhas but Michael and Josiane were gracious enough to offer us a ride from the airport since they were in Sao Luis for the day. Once we got to the place we instantly understood why this place was rated so highly. The food was cheap and delicious, the grounds were extremely well kept and the bungalows were very clean.   Lovely, clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and when we could not communicate with our limited/ almost nonexistent Portuguese were quick to either find someone to assist or use Google translate. They were able to book tours for us for pickup at the pousada and gave us extra time for checkout as our bus back to Sao Luis was later... hva folk sier » in the day and the tour we had came back in the afternoon.
