  The hotel is about 100 m from the main street of the city and from there another 100 m to the main beach and the turtle park. It also offered free parking to us. The hotel is in a very safe area (generally Praia do Forte is safe) and someone can walk freely at any day or night time. The hotel is beautiful and has a very nice structure, garden and... hva folk sier » a decent sized pool. The rooms are beautiful (not very big though). Everything is clean, quiet and professionally organized – best we have seen in Br - It was an excellent pousada, fantastic room with main bedroom and attached second bedroom for a family with three small children, beautiful food and a great pool. Close to the beach (not right on it, but a walk away with toddlers) and close to the turtle sanctuary which was a big hit with the children. Excellent facilities for children (a whole room with baby equipment, outside playground, plus a table of toys near the eating area and a room of videos to borrow - all very thoughtful!) Also ple

  What an amazing place to stay for a holiday! The first pousada to be founded in Trancoso about 28 years ago by a couple whose grown children (Joanna and Ian) now virtually run the place. We had deluxe rooms at a very reasonable rate compared to the pousadas located directly on the beaches nearby. We were in walki - A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.
