  Very friendly staff. First night I stayed in a very small dorm room, however, next day a bigger dorm room became available and I even got a double bed.

  good location on returning from the amazon we did manage to stay in the private room which was much more clean, comfortable and suitable to our needs.

  The staff are really friendly and helpful, the owner Freda and her husband really make you feel at home. Good, varied breakfast. We had booked a double room, they emailed us letting us know that they only had 2 singles but that the room would be locked off so nobody else could use it, this was a little dissapointing but we decided to stay anyway ... hva folk sier » as we had heard great things. They are in the process of renovating all the downstairs rooms, making a bigger kitchen and making double rooms with ens - The staff was extraordinarily friendly. They received us with so much sympathy, we immediately felt at home. The room was clean and built in a rustic kind of way. The building is indeed big and has been so nicely rebuilt. Thank you Big Hostel!

  After booking some 10 times in the same hotel over the last 6 years, I feel at home, have fun with the staff and are served by them whenever possible. It has of course an excellent location, a very modest price for the service and the facilities and the absolutely honest staff. - Great location. Also breakfast was great.

  The staff are great, really friendly and helpful. Wilson who runs the tour company connected to the hostel is full of info and doesn't pressure. You can get free nights if you go on a tour. We stayed in two of the double ensuite rooms and both were spacious and clean - the one upstairs is best. Laundry service was good and cheap.
